Detroit Masonic Temple, July 6 – 1978, Soundboard recording
I know this has been posted by the great channel ‘kg441′ about two years ago, but since his channel is inactive I think it’s only fair someone else post it with a new description and a new upload image
I prefer to start this description by saying, please, listen to this! This is Mick Jagger at his top vocal form! (And some people like the 2006 concerts…); He sounds explosive in (almost) everything!
Both Mick and the band deliver great redemptions of Honky Tonk Women, Beast Of Burden with amazing guitars playing, Miss You, one of the best live versions ever, Love In Vain, I’m so glad they played it tonight, sounded the best, Tumbling Dice and Lies
I said above he sounded good at almost everything, and the reason for that statement is Shattered, it would never sound good without back-up singers, who they would hire for the post-80 tours; And Happy, sung by Keith Richards, sounded truly bad. but feel good, these are the truly bad parts of the show, the rest is mind-blowing!
Enjoy

Let It Rock; All Down The Line; Honky Tonk Women; Star Star; When The Whip Comes Down; Lies; Miss You; Beast Of Burden; Just My Imagination; Shattered; Love In Vain; Tumbling Dice; Happy; Sweet Little Sixteen; Brown Sugar; Jumpin’ Jack Flash
*Dedicated to the great Stones channel, mentioned above, ”kg441”; You should really come back uploading!
